Excellerate Security Unveils Tactical Response Unit to Strengthen Community Safety

14 Oct 2024

We recently celebrated the launch of our Tactical Response Unit in Umhlanga, a significant step in our commitment to improving the safety of local businesses and the communities we serve. This new unit is part of our broader Special Operations unit, aimed at targeting and combating crime effectively. With services like Tactical Intervention, Riot Response, Armed Escorting, and a highly trained K9 Unit, we’re equipped to handle tough situations swiftly.

To mark this exciting milestone, we held a marketing event featuring a convoy of our branded vehicles driving through Umhlanga, raising visibility and awareness. The event was covered live by East Coast Radio’s Morning Breakfast Show, where our Managing Director, Adriaan Otto, and Regional Director, Barry Smith shared how important it is to have strong security. We also showcased our K9 Unit, demonstrating their skills and training.

At Excellerate Security, we understand that being visible is important for building trust which is why we are increasing our marketing efforts to connect with local businesses and encourage open conversations about safety. By working closely with the South African Police Service (SAPS)through the Eyes and Ears (E2) Initiative, and using intelligence gathering, our Special Operations Units can respond quickly to any security challenges.

While we have launched the Tactical Response Unit in areas we currently serve, our long-term strategy includes expanding into new regions. Our vision is to extend our reach into communities where we can make a real difference, addressing emerging security challenges as we grow.

Excellerate Security is committed to strengthening our ties with the communities in which we operate and improving safety for everyone. If you have questions about our services or would like to discuss how we can support your business, please get in touch. Together, we can build safer, stronger communities and a brighter future for all.
